Labour

Labour Outdoor cut flower production is management and labour intensive. The major components of production, for example planting, weeding and harvesting, all require trained labour. The larger the area you have in production the more labour you’ll require. If you have a crop which flushes, such as daffodils or tulips, you must have a large, instant labour force available. Decide whether you want to have full-time workers for the duration of the production season or if you want to do most of the work yourself, supplemented with occasional contract or causal labour during extra busy times.
